Kate Upton kicked off pier for baring boobs
Supermodel Kate Upton was kicked off California's famed Santa Monica pier during a recent photo shoot after showing too much skin.

The sexy Sports Illustrated covergirl stripped down to a one-piece bathing suit at the popular tourist attraction for a feature with men's magazine GQ, but when the crew opted to take a short break and hop on a thrilling fairground ride, Upton suffered a wardrobe malfunction when her barely-there outfit snapped.

The 19 year old reveals security bosses were far from thrilled about her flesh flash and promptly asked her and the photo crew to leave.

Recalling the incident, she says, "We were on that ride where the seat spins while the actual ride is spinning, and I'm wearing a one-piece. And all of a sudden the whole entire top falls off!

"I'm holding myself, laughing, turning bright red, but a lot of people are watching, so they kicked us out of the Santa Monica pier - it was so embarrassing. You wouldn't think that would happen with a one-piece!" 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Journalist, author, screenwriter and director Nora Ephron died today of acute myeloid leukemia. She was 71.

Ephron is best known for penning several romantic comedies When Harry Met Sally, Sleepless in Seattle and You've Got Mail. All of which featured Meg Ryan and all of which attained critical and commercial success. Ephron also directed Sleepless in Seattle and You've Got Mail. She received Oscar nominations for Best Original Screenplay for When Harry Met Sally and Sleepless in Seattle. Earlier in her career, Ephron also received an Oscar nomination for her writing for Silkwood. Her 1983 novel Heartburn (loosely based on her marriage to Carl Bernstein of Woodward and Bernstein fame) was also adapted for the big screen. Ephron's last movie Julie & Julia which she wrote, directed and produced was released in 2009.

Before she embarked on her writing career, Ephron briefly worked for President Kennedy after graduating from Wellesley College. Ephron quipped that she was "probably the only young woman who ever worked in the Kennedy White House that the president did not make a pass at."

 

 

 

 

 

 

Nora Ephron, R. I. P.
Screenwriter and director Nora Ephron has died, according to a report from the Washington Post. The news first arrived earlier this evening by way of a eulogy from close friend Liz Smith on wowOwow. “I won’t say, ‘Rest in peace, Nora’ — I will just ask ’What the hell will we do without you?’” the columnist wrote. According to several reports, the 71-year-old Silkwood and When Harry Met Sally… writer had been “gravely ill” for some time. The Washington Post confirmed “[Ephron] died of complications from the blood disorder myelodysplasia, with which she was diagnosed six years ago.”
